Instead of creating a wet room or a walk-in shower, you can also have a separate shower section in your bath. For this, just buy the space-saver side panels, install them and have a separate shower section in your small bathroom. This is a good idea to opt for if you have an average or large-sized bathroom.
Typically, bathroom shower stalls don't have roofs. This is better for the humidity to vent out from the stall, because it is unusual to have an exhaust fan in them. But if you need a roof, you will need to talk about that with your installer in advance, or check if that is included with your prefabricated kit.
Do not cut or modify the fiberglass pan while installing it as the material is just like carbon fiber. If it is cut or modified, the pan will start cracking and you will need to buy a new one.
